Services Definition

* Note: All acronyms are defined in FCC R&O Citizens Broadband Radio Service Part 96

The following functionality will be available as part of the Services:

 

Self-management portal

  • A single web portal will be provided to manage the Services
  • The Services will provide multiple user capability, including developers, support teams and business owners
  • The Services will provide the following functionality:
    • Spectrum analytics
    • Reporting
    • Network visualization
    • User / account administration
    • Network management and troubleshooting assistance via history for each CBSD connecting to the Services
  • Each organization will have an account on the SAS to administer and manage items noted above for the Services
  • The Services will include the ability for an administrator of an organization to create, administer and manage sub-organizations within the scope and context of its organization
  • The Services will allow users to view details within its own scope; however, they are not allowed to view other sub-organizations details

 

Spectrum monitoring and troubleshooting

  • The Services will provide tools for engineering and support teams to proactively monitor and troubleshoot the interfaces of the Services

 

Reporting

  • The Services will provide periodic and on-demand reports
  • Periodic reports will be generated either daily or weekly
  • Reports will be available in the following categories:
    • CBSD listings (current and historical)
    • Response Time for SAS-CBSD messages
  • Reports will be available based on time, geography and FCC IDs

 

Analytics

  • The Services will provide APIs for the following categories of analytics:
    • CBSD status, message volume and message failures
    • Band occupancy
  • Analytics will be available based on time, geography and FCC IDs
