In order for us to provide our spectrum solutions, including managing customer access to our spectrum solutions, we must collect certain information, including detailed information about each of our customer’s network deployments. This data is collected either automatically when each device registers with our networks or manually by one of our installers when they register the device with the network. In this statement (“Data Statement”) we describe how we collect, use and disclose such information as part of providing our spectrum solutions.
Information We Collect Via Our Devices. Information you provide to our networks includes:
- The location (latitude/longitude) of each
- The height or other dimensions of the
- The azimuth (direction the device is pointing).
- Device type.
Along with being used in connection with our spectrum solutions, this device data is required to ensure that incumbents are protected, and the spectrum is shared properly across the three tiers of users: Federal Incumbents, Priority Access License holders and General Authorized Access users.
Information We Collect Directly From You. We may collect certain information from you, such as your name, email address, address, and phone number.
How We Use Your Information
We may use your information, including device information, for the following purposes:
- Providing Our Spectrum Solutions. To provide our spectrum solutions to you and for other customer service purposes, including data about connected devices, including, but not limited to, IP addresses, metadata and performance metrics and other device data. We use device data in order to provide the spectrum solutions, including to provide support, diagnostic and maintenance services.
- Communicating with You as Our Customer. To communicate with you, including via email; to respond to your inquiries; to contact you about our spectrum solutions; and for other customer-related purposes.
- Analyzing Use of Our Spectrum Solutions. To better understand how customers access and use our spectrum solutions, both on an aggregated and individualized basis; to respond to customer desires and preferences; and to provide analytics, including comparisons and benchmarks across devices on an aggregated basis.
- Complying with the Law. To comply with applicable legal obligations and regulations.
How We Disclose Your Information
We may use the information that we collect about you, including your device data, with our service providers others who perform functions on our behalf in connection with your use of our spectrum solutions.
We may also disclose information that we collect about you, including device information, in the following ways:
- Business Transfers. We may disclose your information to another entity if we are acquired by or merged with another company, if substantially all of our assets are transferred to another company, or as part of a bankruptcy proceeding.
- In Response to Legal Process. We may disclose your information in order to comply with the law, a judicial proceeding, subpoena, court order, or other legal process.
- To Protect Us and Others. We may disclose your information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Use or this Data Statement, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.
- Aggregate and De-Identified Information. We may disclose aggregate or de-identified information about customers for marketing, advertising, research, or similar purposes.
- With Your Permission. For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information. And, with your consent.
Changes to this Data Statement
We may update this Data Statement from time to time, and we will provide notice of any such changes to the statement as required by law. The date the Data Statement was last updated is identified at the top of the page. We will notify you of changes to this Privacy Policy by updating the “last updated” date and posting the updated statement on the Site. We may email or otherwise communicate reminders about this Data Statement, but you should check our Site periodically to see the current policy and any changes we have made to it.
